Theresa Caputo Long Island Medium Contact, Appointment, Waitlist, Fees Updated

I have written several blogs on Theresa Caputo, Long Island Medium. As her popularity grows, so do the number of fans searching for answers. I have answered the big questions below- How much is a reading with Theresa Caputo, How long is the waitlist for an appointment with Theresa Caputo, Does Theresa Caputo still do readings? How to get an appointment with Theresa Caputo? How do I see Theresa Caputo at one of her shows? etc... I STRONGLY encourage anyone wanting or needing a reading to do their research and find another medium you trust. You can do this even while remaining on a 3+ year waitlist for Theresa Caputo. While finding a good medium can be difficult, There are a few of us out there who are true mediums and can bring the same peace & answers from a reading that you will find with Theresa Caputo, with a much less wait time & some for lower fees. With that being said, I love Theresa Caputo and love watching the Long Island Medium. I understand why after watching just one episode, many people feel an intense need to do a reading with her but that's much easier said than done.

How much is a reading or session with Theresa Caputo, Long Island Medium, What are Theresa Caputo, Long Island Medium's fees?
It seems that other than those readings taped during her tv show, Theresa primarily does large venues with thousands of people, tickets for those range from $75-$100+ per person, while I'm sure it is a wonderful show, it is more of a show, and only a select few get any type of reading at all. If you want a private reading (not the hope of one at a large show), the fees are reportedly anywhere from $150-$500...I'm sure it varies based on type of reading (group or private). Theresa did email me in December 2012, I have searched and can't find this email now, but I think she said her current fees for a private reading were $250 for 30 minutes or $500/hour, this is not what's reported by many people in her local area, I found an entry on wikihow that suggest it's more like $400 for a 30 minute local reading to her & more if you live farther away from New York. Most mediums do charge by time, many of my fans know, I do not charge by time. For me, a reading lasts as long as needed for the one fee, but this is not abnormal and many mediums charge like Theresa (by the time of session).

How long is the current waitlist for Theresa Caputo, Long Island Medium?
From the research I have done, there is a waitlist for a waitlist. In other words, once you contact Theresa Caputo, you wait a minimum of 3 years to get a response, at that time, you will be notified that you have now been added to the waitlist, which is another 3-5 year wait (minimum).

Does Theresa still do regular readings?
From everyone I have spoken with and all the research I have done, she only does regular readings for the show.

Are your readings or sessions the same as Theresa Caputo's?
Yes....but, keep in mind, this is a matter of opinion & no 2 mediums are exactly the same, but I do feel that mine are similar in nature and style. Just like no 2 mediums are the same, neither are readings and sessions. Each is different. I will say that the way the info comes through, the things we seem to see in the same way, & even to some degree the way the info is communicated is very similar to Theresa Caputo, The Long Island Medium (which is why I am fascinated by the fact that although I have never met her in person, the information comes through in a similar style and manner). I would be more than happy to schedule a reading with anyone who needs one and I do phone sessions and travel for sessions, however, I would not want someone to schedule with me expecting me to be Theresa Caputo- I am not, I'm sure while similar, there are many differences in the way we see & communicate things in regards to the afterlife.

How do I get on your waitlist or schedule an appointment?
I first recommend that you do your homework on various mediums and find the one that you feel most comfortable with...my website is www.shellyfrey.com. You can watch my webisodes & videos, read testimonials, even schedule your own phone reading all right on the website. If you want to get the fee info for an in person session (I would travel to you), please email shelly.frey@comcast.net OR call/text 717-816-1258 OR you can click contact Shelly on my website.

TV Medium Truths, Proofs & Appointments

We have all heard & seen  the wave of TV shows bringing psychic & medium abilities mainstream, but; is all the hype helping or hurting those of us who are true "non tv" mediums? Is what you see on these shows real & why is it so difficult to get an  appointment?
I recently did a session with a very nice lady who opened my eyes & really made me think about this. Many of us remember seeing Sylvia Browne on Montel or John Edward on Crossing Over, but now we see everything from TLC's Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo on DR OZ & even late night shows  & Anderson Cooper have all joined the bandwagon. There are all kinds of
paranormal shows like Ghost Hunters & even a pet psychic show.  These  TV psychics & mediums seem spot on with every reading, but is what we see on TV real?  Is this really how it is for other mediums? Is all that hype helping those of us working & making a living using this gift every day?  Sort of!
Yes, I love those TV mediums & enjoy watching any show they are on & I cry along with everyone else every time.  I appreciate them having the nerve to go on TV in front of millions to represent us all by showing the world what we do. I think in many ways they have opened the minds & hearts of many & that's a beautiful thing. DR Oz even had a brain specialist who did brain scans on Theresa Caputo while she did a session & then after the session, proving that patterns are different in mediums while doing a
session& not just different but should never appear in a person the way they do while doing a reading - ultimately proving something is going on in our minds when we connect to the afterlife, something DRs can't explain but say we could not possibly control ourselves. In many ways these shows have helped us; however, in many ways they haven't.
I get many calls from people barely getting through life & I feel for every one of them, but the worst are the ones who paid hundreds & in some cases thousands of dollars to people claiming to be mediums but were not. It saddens me that there are people pretending to have abilities & cashing in on other's pain, the tv hype has brought these so called mediums out in drones, they are nothing more than con artists & it's making it difficult for those of us who can do what we say; naturally because so many now claim to have this gift, people are afraid & don’t know who to trust; it’s heartbreaking. In addition these shows (even the reality TV type) aren't always as they seem, they are edited-very edited. I am not saying they are lying, the people are real, the abilities are real, but it often is portrayed that sessions are short& straight to the point, which is rarely the case. I often get exact info straight away when doing sessions but sometimes it takes much longer than you see on these shows & the info comes through a bit differently too. Most of the time, a session lasts quite a bit longer because I am trying to get the validation for my client (and not just general info but specific details), and while I am usually successful, it takes  much longer & is much more difficult than portrayed in these edited shows.
Finally, getting an appointment with a TV Medium, Psychic, Ghost Hunter, etc......this is the biggest problem, people are misguided & often believe that only the mediums on TV are good enough to do an appointment with, they think because others are not famous, we are not good. This is simply not true. There are many mediums, myself included, who are just as good, maybe even better than some on TV. We either chose not to pursue TV, don't want to expose our family, or maybe haven't had a producer interested in us, that certainly doesn't mean we aren't good mediums. It is very difficult to get on a waitlist for tv mediums (several years sometimes) & the fees are often close to $1000 (some are more), many are busy writing books, doing large venues ($100+ per ticket) for huge audiences & only a select few attendees actually get a reading.  I am not referring to a specific medium or show on tv, nor am I upset with these shows in general - if the right show idea came my way, I would certainly consider it too, I am just saying the recent burst in tv shows about psychics, mediums, ghosts, & the afterlife have both helped & hurt those of us trying to make a living  by helping others! Please don't think I am asking you not to watch these shows, most seem genuine & I will be watching them all! Just asking you to remember, things aren't always exactly the same in the real world, reality TV is still TV after all :)
